I do know these labs have a generally bad rep for long wait times, harried personnel, etc, but based on my one experience here, it went about as smoothly as it could.

They do allow walk-ins and while I'd imagine they can't always accommodate you, the nice thing is you can pop in, see how many people are waiting in the waiting room, and then figure out whether they can get you in in the time you have. She explained that they only allow limited appointments given the single tech here, but that it's generally less hectic at these 'in-Safeway' labs vs the larger labs located in medical centers. There was only one tech (there's only one room anyway) and she was very nice and professional. I went at 9:20am and there was no one else there.
